Enabling young people to learn new skills, increase their knowledge and develop confidence, self-esteem and resilience

Services for Young People (SfYP) provides youth work groupwork and one-to-one individual support

Professionals, parents/carers or young people themselves can make referrals.  Young people must be aged 11 to 17, up to 24 for care leavers, young adults with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities and some other vulnerable groups.  Young people must also live or attend a school in Hertfordshire.

Our Personal Advisers and Youth Workers are professionally trained to provide the highest level of support, and work closely with partners to provide counselling, mentoring and access to other services.

We help young people with the issues that are important to them such as jobs, careers and education, relationships, sexual health, confidence, self-esteem, substance misuse, staying safe from exploitation, and independent living skills.
