Services for Young People provides after-school and evening groupwork projects for young people where they can meet new people, learn new skills and take part in challenging opportunities.
Professionals, parents/carers or young people themselves can make referrals. Young people must be aged 11 to 17, up to 25 for care leavers, young adults with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities and some other vulnerable groups. Young people must also live or attend school or college in Hertfordshire.
Our Youth Workers are professionally trained to provide the highest level of support, and work closely with partners to provide counselling, mentoring and access to other services.
We help young people with the issues that are important to them such as relationships, sexual health, confidence, self-esteem, substance misuse, staying safe from exploitation, and independent living skills.
