'My Future' is a one-year pilot programme designed to support young people with Education, Health and Care Plans who attend North Herts College and who attract High Needs Funding to consider their options when they leave college.
They will have a careers interview with a personal adviser from the SfYP SEND Team and access to a robust careers programme. Those with the highest support needs will also have access to a My Future Coach who will help them to find, secure and transition into meaningful opportunities of their choice/interest.
Those interested in employment will have access to a My Future Employment Adviser who will use Supported Employment techniques to help them to find, secure and maintain suitable paid employment.
