At the SfYP Hub at Harpenden Young People's Centre, young people can access free and confidential information, advice and support on the following topics from trained SfYP Advisers and Youth Workers:
- Jobs and careers
- Training and apprenticeships
- Education and exams
- Youth work projects
- Advice on health and relationships
- Personal safety
- Drugs and alcohol use
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homelessness
- Improving resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- Independent living skills
Young people can also access sexual health services, including free condoms, free pregnancy, chlamydia, and gonorrhoea testing.
The support at SfYP Hubs is for young people aged 11-18, up to 25 for care leavers or those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We work with the majority of education providers in Hertfordshire. Young people who are in school or college can get impartial careers guidance from Services for Young People. Please ask the school or college's Careers Leader for a careers guidance appointment.

Facilities
The Harpenden Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible and has computers which can be used for research, developing CVs, searching for jobs, training and accessing other information.
Professionals who work with young people in Hertfordshire can book a space to meet a young person at the St Albans Young People's Centre during the opening times. Please contact the Services for Young People St Albans Team for more details.
