Tuesdays, 11am-5pm
Our young people's centres remain open for information, advice and support during school holidays, but are closed on bank holidays.
At the Services for Young People 11-5 Project at Borehamwood Young People's Centre, young people can access free and confidential information, advice and support on the following topics from trained SfYP Advisers and Youth Workers:
- Jobs and careers
- Training and apprenticeships
- Education and exams
- Youth work projects
- Advice on health and relationships
- Personal safety
- Drugs and alcohol use
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homelessness
- Improving resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- Independent living skills
Young people can also access sexual health services, including free condoms and free chlamydia, gonorrhoea and pregnancy testing.
We work with the majority of education providers in Hertfordshire. Young people who are in school or college can get impartial careers guidance from Services for Young People. Please ask the school or college's Careers Leader for a careers guidance appointment.

Facilities
The Borehamwood Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible and has computers which can be used for research, developing CVs, searching for jobs, training and accessing other information.
