Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions help young people develop independence, resilience, teamwork skills, and many practical life skills through a challenging but achievable outdoor experience.
Participants plan and navigate the route, cook their own meals and manage themselves with minimal adult support, learning to take responsibility for their decisions and work together to overcome real-world challenges in a natural environment.
Through the experience they will gain confidence and a sense of personal achievement. They develop resilience by dealing with difficulties, improve their communication and teamwork skills, and strengthen problem-solving and leadership skills, leaving them better prepared for future challenges and more capable and confident in their own abilities.
Services for Young People offers Bronze, Silver and Gold Level DofE expeditions. Click on the links below to get details and how to sign up.
