Hudnall Park is a year-round outdoor education centre, set in 85 acres of beautiful parkland, private woodland and meadows, five miles from Hemel Hempstead.

This July we are hosting a free half-day activity session for professionals who work with young people. This session will enable you to see and experience first-hand the fantastic environment, facilities and activities on offer to young people at Hudnall Park throughout the year. We are keen to showcase what we can offer to the young people you work with, so you can signpost them to us whenever appropriate.

When?

We are offering a free half-day taster session, either 9.30am-12.30 or 1-4pm on:

  • Monday 28th July 2025

Choice of activities

You can choose from any two of the following 1.5-hour activities:

  • Fun team-building games and problem-solving activities
  • Go Wild at Hudnall Forest School - mindful nature exploration (available 1-4pm only)
  • Archery
  • Traverse wall
  • Low ropes
  • Zip wire
  • Obstacle challenge course

We have 24 spaces available, offered on a first come first served basis.

While you are at Hudnall Park you will learn about what is on offer to the young people you work with. We offer tailor-made programmes of activities designed to develop children and young people’s educational, personal, social and emotional skills in a safe and supportive environment. The activities are particularly suitable for young people in care, young people with SEND, including those with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, enabling them to connect with nature and improve their wellbeing.

Our activity sessions for adults are the perfect solution for team development days. The activities we offer are specifically designed to get teams motivated, working together and trusting each other in a variety of fun ways. An activity session could be a reward for hard work or, with many people now working from home, simply a great opportunity to get to spend time together in person and getting to know each other better outside of the work environment. Fully qualified and experienced Services for Young People staff deliver the activities and they are skilled in helping you develop and improve on essential teamwork and problem-solving skills.

As well as a wide range of outdoor adventure and nature connection activities, we also have many indoor facilities which can be used for training, meetings or conferences.
