Forest School Fridays for families and drop-off sessions for young people during school holidays

Forest School Fridays for families 

Children and their families are encouraged to shape their own Forest School experience by choosing what they would like to do, exploring their personal interests and natural curiosity.

Activities may include den building, hammocks, bushcraft, including knot tying and whittling, campfire lighting, marshmallow roasting, forest crafts (including making mud monsters and tree spirits), a site walk, scavenger hunt, and much more!

Who are Forest School Fridays for?

  • Children under 12, accompanied by parents/carers

How long does a Forest School Friday session last?

  • Each sessions last 3 hours

 

Forest School drop-off sessions for young people during school holidays

The drop-off session themes vary and may include Forest School activities such as bushcraft and campfire cooking, as well as nature art, journalling, and photography.

Who are the drop-off Forest School sessions for?

  • Young people aged 13 to 17

How long do the sessions last?

  • Each sessions last 2 hours

How much do school holiday Forest School sessions cost?

Prices per child or young person:

  • £10 for a 2-hour session
