This area of the Services for Young People website is for young people who have registered with us to get support with finding a job, apprenticeship or further education opportunity.

If you said you would you like to be notified about vacancies in your area by text, you will be matched with job vacancies and apprenticeships and start to receive texts in the next few days, or as soon as we know about any in the job categories you indicated you are interested in.

Other support from SfYP

  • To talk to an SfYP Adviser face-to-face you can visit your local young people's centre for information, advice and support
  • Young people aged 16-25 who are not in education, employment or training who live in Broxbourne; Dacorum, North Herts, St Albans, Stevenage, Watford, Hertsmere or Welwyn Hatfield can get support from us through our Employment Pathways programme
  • If you are in care or a care leaver or you have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and are not currently in education, employment or training you can also get support from SfYP through the Pathways to Success 2025 programme up until the age of 25.
  • Young people aged 16-25 with learning difficulties and learning disabilities may be eligible to get help to find suitable paid work through our Supported Employment programmes.
  • Young people aged 16-25 who have an education, health and care plan (EHCP), who want to move into employment but need additional support to do so, can do a Supported Internship
