The Welwyn Hatfield Youth Strategy Partnership Group provides a forum for local service providers and other key stakeholders to collaborate strategically and operationally. The group reviews and analyses key and emerging trends about issues affecting young people.
The group meets regularly to discuss these key issues in the area. It then decides on what local action needs to be taken, both collectively and by individual organisations, to target these issues and help ensure young people in Welwyn Hatfield have the very best opportunities available.
For further information about the work of the Welwyn Hatfield Youth Strategy Partnership Group, please contact the Chair, Mark Hughes, at sfyp.welwynhatfield@hertfordshire.gov.uk

Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield Local Schools Partnership
We are here to help improve outcomes for children and young people and to help make it easier for you to support your children with their learning.
Families are referred to our service through local schools or families can self-refer. Families are allocated a school family worker, the worker meets with the family to assess need by use of the Outcome Star. From information gathered a support plan is created, support is then offered according to the needs of the family. Our School Family Workers can offer one to one support on parenting issues. We also offer group support via workshops and courses.
