Young people take part in sleep out to raise money for homeless charity

17 December 2021

A group of young people who graduated from this summer’s NCS programme took up another social action challenge this month, raising £555 by taking part in the Herts Young Homeless Sleep Out at Oaklands College in St Albans.

The four young people are part of the NCS Changemakers group, supported by Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People. They slept outside from 9pm until 7am in order to raise money and awareness about homelessness.
