Young people’s survey – tell us how the COVID-19 lockdown has affected you

29 June 2020

Young people in Hertfordshire are being asked about how lockdown has affected their wellbeing in a survey this July.

YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People is conducting a survey throughout July to ask all young people in Hertfordshire how the COVID-19 lockdown has affected their wellbeing and what their biggest concerns are.

After an extensive survey undertaken six months ago, we are keen to know if the priorities identified then are still as important now. The survey results will be used to help shape the support and services available to young people over the coming months.

Since the start of lockdown, YC Hertfordshire has provided a range of support, projects and programmes for young people delivered by phone and through online group work. The survey also seeks feedback on these to assess their effectiveness and to gather ideas so that digital services can be further developed for the future.

Deputy Leader of Hertfordshire County Council and Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families, Councillor Teresa Heritage, said: “Young people in Hertfordshire have responded to the COVID-19 crisis incredibly well and shown great resilience. This survey is a good way for us to find out what impact lockdown has had on our young people, so we can ensure that we get services for them just right over the coming months.”

If you are aged 11 to 17 (or up to 24 if you have a learning disability), please click the link below to complete the survey. The closing date is 31st July 2020:
