Sexual Health Week 2025 runs from 15 to 21 September, and this year’s theme is ‘Chronically online’, exploring how our online life influences our attitudes and behaviours around sex and relationships.

While many sexual health services are now available online, Services for Young People (SfYP) continues to provide face-to-face individualised support specifically for young people. Our professionally qualified Advisers and Youth Workers don’t just give young people access to free contraception and testing, they help increase their understanding of healthy relationships and give them the confidence to navigate the world more safely, both online and offline.

How can young people access our support?

Young people aged up to 18 can make an appointment at the 11-5 Hub at their local young people’s centre or just drop in during the opening hours for:

  • Free condoms
  • Free chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing (dual testing)
  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Advice on sexual health and relationships

Care leavers, young LGBT+ people, and those with SEND can access these free and confidential services up to the age of 25.

Opening times, contact details and information about other types of support available at our 11-5 Hubs can be found here:

Young people can access the same sexual health services and support at our weekly term-time youth work projects. At these projects we empower young people to think critically about the online content they consume. They can discuss any concerns they may have in a safe environment, learn to recognise and build healthy relationships, and get reliable information about sexual health and contraception.

Our autumn 2025 youth work projects start on 22 September. Get full details here:

If you work with a young person who needs support with sexual health and relationships, please make a referral.

SfYP sexual health services are delivered in partnership with Sexual Health Hertfordshire and Metro Sexual Health.
