Sexual Health Week 2019

Sexual Health Week takes place between 16 – 22 September and this year’s theme is making sexual health inclusive: sex, relationships and disability. The focus is on ensuring all that young people have access to quality relationships and sex education, sexual health services and wellbeing support.

During the week, YC Hertfordshire is promoting the services it offers young people aged 13-19, which includes free condoms and chlamydia testing in its Access Points across Hertfordshire. Young people in care and care leavers can access these services up to the age of 21 and young people with learning disabilities can access the services up to the age of 25.

YC Hertfordshire also offers sexual health services in colleges at the following times:

West Herts College – every Wednesday during term time, 11.30-1.30

Oaklands College, Welwyn Garden City - Every Tuesday, 11.30am-1.30pm

University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield - Every other Tuesday, 5.30-7.30pm

Elstree UTC – Tuesdays (term time) 1-2pm

Hertford Regional College Broxbourne Campus: bi-weekly on Thursdays from 26th September 2019

Hertford Regional College Ware Campus: bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 2nd October 2019
