Services for Young People consultation – have your say on our future priorities

17 July 2023

We are looking at ways to redesign some of the services we offer to young people in Hertfordshire. We want to hear from young people, parents/carers, professionals and other stakeholders about what is most important to them.

Young people getting feedback

Services for Young People (SfYP) has begun a public consultation to gather opinions and feedback. The aim of the consultation is to gain a greater understanding of what is important to and for young people, and to gather suggestions on how we can develop future services that help and support them.

SfYP is required to make financial savings from 2024, while continuing to provide essential services to young people in line with the evolving priorities within Hertfordshire County Council Children's Services.

If you are a parent/carer or professional who works with young people or a wider stakeholder, please complete the survey at this link:

Please also share the young people’s survey link below with any young people you know or work with.

If you are a young person who lives in or goes to school or college in Hertfordshire, whether or not you have had contact with SfYP before, please complete the survey at this link. You will also have the chance to win a shopping voucher:

The surveys are open until 9 October 2023.

SfYP is committed to delivering effective and inclusive services that address the needs of young people across Hertfordshire. By gathering valuable information about what is important to them, we aim to enhance the support provided to those young people to reach their full potential.
