Services for Young People Hertfordshire Services for Young People

Covid-19 update: January 2021

11 January 2021

YCH Services for Young People is continuing to support young people across Hertfordshire during the third national lockdown and, with schools closed for most young people, this help and support is more critical than ever.

YCH Services for Young People Access Points, which offer a range of information, advice, guidance and sexual health services are continuing to provide support for young people. Wherever possible, these appointments are taking place by phone or online.

Street-based (outdoor) youth work is also taking place to give young people the opportunity to talk to Youth Workers about any issues they are facing and get information and support on subjects such as staying safe online, mental health and wellbeing, healthy relationships and where they can access other services for young people in their area.

Most YCH Services for Young People youth work projects are continuing online via video conferencing.

Our Youth Workers and Personal Advisers can also offer short term one-to-one support for young people on a range of issues.

Please contact your local team for appointments for one-to-one support or to join a project:

Parents/carers and professionals who work with young people can refer a young person to YCH Services for Young People.
